Rally against racism

On the second, annual National Day of Action Against Anti-Asian Racism, CTC and community members rallied together to stand up to racism, hate, and discrimination.

Community leaders, elders, and community members gathered together in solidarity to attend the proclamation and rally for the National Day of Action Against Anti-Asian Racism. Councillor Anne Stevenson and Councillor Keren Teng, together, delivered a proclamation on behalf of Mayor Amarjeet Sohi to declare May 10th a day of recognition and action against all forms of racism and race-based hate.

This was a movement originally started by the Stand with Asians Coalition based out of British Columbia.

We are so grateful to be part of a caring community of people who show up ❤️
