Chinatown Vibrancy Fund


Supports the implementation of the Chinatown Strategy by bringing visitors into the area through festivals, events, and cultural projects, building community cohesion, and empowering residents.

The City of Edmonton is pleased to announce the Chinatown Vibrancy Fund. This $480,000 fund will be open for applications from April 8 to May 31, 2024. 

The Chinatown Vibrancy Fund aims to support the implementation of the Chinatown Strategy by bringing visitors into the area through festivals, events, and cultural projects, building community cohesion, and empowering residents both housed and unhoused.

There is no minimum or maximum amount for individual projects. The City hopes to make funding announcements regarding project applications in July 2024.
